"All over the place," Sulu replied, shrugging. "My dad, through organized lessons, just... picking it up as I went. That sort of thing." He'd just always been good at flying - once he got into Starfleet, he knew he'd be able to handle their space-faring stuff just as well as any of the Earth-bound crafts. That was, if he got into Starfleet. But, Sulu was cocky enough to assume he'd be able to, so long as his parents didn't disown him first.

He noticed the waitress making her rounds and decided on the alien dish he'd give Ianto a chance to try, looking up at him. "Oh yeah, uh. Do you want to try something different for a drink, or... we have Coke Classic, but I dunno about the rest of the stuff." Who knew what had been made during the last 200 years, and what was still "original" recipe?
