Ianto nodded. Sulu's parents seemed like nice enough people, even if he was technically grounded at the moment. Well. Sulu hadn't really said a word against them so far, which was really what Ianto was basing his opinion on it all off of at that moment. Just about anyone was better than his Tad though, as far as Ianto was concerned. And if Sulu's parents trusted him enough to leave him home alone even when he was grounded, well... "It'd be worth it to at least talk to them about it. I mean. They aren't...I dunno, openly hating of Starfleet or anything like that, are they?" he asked.

And then, after Sulu's added words, a slow smile spread across Ianto's face. "...no, I don't suppose that anything would, would it," he said, before turning back to look through all of the things that were printed with Starfleet insignias and the likes.
