Sulu smoothed the skirt down a bit, frowning. "It'd be better if I didn't have to wear any of it. I hate skirts," he grumbled, reaching up with his free hand to try and brush his hair with his fingers. He was stopped when his other hand jerked, Ianto's plight coming to his attention.
Well, he was sort of on Jack's side, here. He wasn't seeing anything for Ianto to complain about - though, at the same time, he could understand why he'd be hesitant to go outside shirtless. It wasn't really normal for Cardiff, from what he'd seen, after all. "He's right," Sulu said without really thinking, "Don't worry about it. Nobody's going to care, not really. You'll be fine, anyway." He smiled, "I'm pretty sure it's acceptable for a man to be shirtless in public. You're not that far back in the timeline."
