"Sorry, sorry," Sulu laughed, buckling his own seatbelt. "I didn't really mean it. I'm sure we're going to survive." He hesitated for a moment before putting his hand over Ianto's once again, squeezing it reassuringly as they pulled onto the street. It was strange, but now that Ianto had taken the first step, holding his hand on the stairs and into the kitchen, Sulu felt compelled to keep that contact up whenever possible. It didn't help that they were handcuffed together, making it very hard to resist.
"Seriously, Jack," Sulu added, "Try not to kill either of us." He really didn't sound worried at all, though; after all, he knew how to fly a giant space ship going at warp speed. He was pretty sure that Jack couldn't shock him in a gas-powered car.
