How were they going to bring their relationship from the semi-platonic thing it was now to... well, whatever it became? He wasn't sure, and it was a little strange that he couldn't come up with some kind of answer.

He shook his head slowly, trying to think. "No, I know you're not... You know I don't know any better than you. After this, though?" That was a good question. He figured they would do what they normally did: get together under some pretense, wander around Cardiff - maybe actually go to a bar, or pub or whatever it was they had in Wales... And that gave him an idea.

"Well," he said slowly, chewing his lower lip briefly as he looked away, trying for nonchalant but coming off a little anxious. Even if he'd done this before, it was always a sort of strange moment. He looked back after a moment, finally grinning in his usual manner, "Usually, at this point, we'd go out on a date."
