Sulu sighed and nodded. He tilted his head to rest it against Ianto's shoulder briefly before moving away, still holding his hands. "You're right, I wouldn't. But - it's okay. We'll go find Jack." He smiled as encouragingly as he could, considering their moment was passing at warp speed and there was nothing he could do to salvage it at this point. They would get it back, though. Sulu would do what he could to get this back.

"I bet he's probably gotten in to trouble, anyway. And... I'm sure there'll be other chances for us to talk during this." After all, Jack seemed prone to disappearing on them. They'd be able to sit back and discuss this date idea more thoroughly, he was sure of it.
