"They're not much fun," Sulu observed casually, "You know, everyone's had too much to drink, the reason for it is usually stupid, half of your punches don't connect... You end up looking like an idiot, even if you win." Not that he'd participated in any fights directly; Sulu was more the kind of guy to passively let his friends fight their fights for whatever reason they decided they needed to. It didn't help that he was always drunk when those things happened.

Sulu followed Ianto's moves to get out of the car, looking across the street to eye the place Ianto had picked out with an appreciative gaze. It looked old, even by 21st century standards, and it was just as big and impressive as older buildings usually looked. "The whole thing's a bar?" he asked, "It's pretty huge for a pub." The exterior also made him wonder if they were a little too casually dressed, but Sulu had a feeling Ianto never went anywhere underdressed.
