"Good authority?" Sulu asked, pretending to be bemused at the comment, "I didn't know there was a good authority on me. But, whoever they are, they got it right." He grinned at Ianto and leaned back a little, gulping down some of his drink.

His thoughts were actually closely following Ianto's at this point, though he wasn't making an effort to follow them - he was assuming that there would be more dates; that there would be more to this than just a few meetings and some hand-holding. He couldn't help but assume that, though - he liked spending time with Ianto, talking with him and just being around him, so it made sense in his mind to continue making contact whenever he could.

"I just hope that we get a chance to hit up a new planet soon. I could use the vacation - you know, more than I get when I'm with you."
