The last thing Sulu wanted to do right now was let himself get carried away; he'd had enough to drink and liked Ianto enough that it was a distinct possibility for that to happen, but he didn't want to rush this. There was something about Ianto that made Sulu want to do everything slow and carefully, something that made moments like this seem almost better than the more intense ones; despite the fact that he really, really enjoyed that sort of thing too.

With a small noise of satisfaction, Sulu allowed himself to deepen the kiss a bit, running his tongue along Ianto's mouth, pressing a bit. This slow movement made Sulu both want to push forward and pin Ianto to the couch cushions, but he was going to be respectful, damn it. They'd only just gotten back from a date, after all.
