[Sulu can occasionally sound incredibly serious and not just a bit dire; this is one of those times. Joking can come later, but he needs to get this out of the way, in case something happens...]

It has come to my attention that a previous member of the community, Sylar, has recently returned. I can't go into too much detail about who he is, but I will give you this warning. Sylar looks like Commander Spock, but he is not to be treated anything like a friend. Do not allow him aboard the Enterprise under any circumstances, and if you see him attempting to communicate with Captain Kirk, don't let him. He is a psychopath with various powers - including, but not limited to, shapeshifting, telekinesis, and frankly a disturbing ability to manipulate electricity. He might talk about Captain Kirk to you, and he may act as though they're the best of friends, but in reality this is a lie.

[He sighs.] Just trust me when I say that while there are plenty of good, decent people on the community, Sylar is not one of them.

[He knows that curiosity will probably get the best of them (goodness knows Sulu's temper gets the best of him) and they'll probably talk to Sylar, but hopefully this will be a decent enough warning for now.]

[Of course, talking to Jack, Gwen and Ianto about Sylar is super easy, and he allows himself to sound frustrated and a little upset.] If any of you see me getting into a fight with Sylar, for the love of God, stop me. The last thing I need is to endanger my entire ship just because that man gets under my skin.

[Scotty, for one, has taken the time to browse through the community and see what he's missed in the days that he was not-quite-hiding down in the engine room after his not-quite-a-row with Jack - a matter which, thankfully, has since been cleared up - and he's seen enough to know that Sylar looks like Spock, and that talking to Sylar's upset Jim. This warning from Sulu is enough to convince him to stay off Sylar's radar.]

I'll trust your judgment on this one. If you say he's trouble, then he's trouble, an' that's the end of it.

[Jack reads this through, and while he doesn't know exactly the nature of Sulu's interactions with Sylar, he knows that Ianto stopped him before he did something stupid last time, which was why he came down to the Hub that one time when Jack was sick, and that Sulu doesn't usually sound so upset about anything. Sulu might not be on his team, but he's as good as, considering everything they'd been through, and so Jack has gladly expanded his protectiveness to include this man as well]

I'm fine. I just... let myself get carried away again. [He sighs.] I'm... really against Sylar's general existence, especially on the community, so. This is me, getting out of hand all over again.

No. He just... made some mentions of Jim. Veiled mentions, in his last post, but I know that's who he was talking about.

Hmm. I'm imagining that he wasn't saying anything good, then, either. Especially if it's got you so worked up again.

[He sighs.] I honestly don't even know. He said something about how people leave you here, and nothing's forever, and all that bullshit he likes to spout when things aren't going his way. I just sort of lost it.

[A long pause.]

It's probably not good for my zen reputation to want to punch someone just for making an entry, huh?

[gently] Probably not, but you're allowed to not like someone. Especially someone like him, who's a danger not only to yourself, but everyone you know as well. Everyone on the community, really.
