[Sulu can occasionally sound incredibly serious and not just a bit dire; this is one of those times. Joking can come later, but he needs to get this out of the way, in case something happens...]

It has come to my attention that a previous member of the community, Sylar, has recently returned. I can't go into too much detail about who he is, but I will give you this warning. Sylar looks like Commander Spock, but he is not to be treated anything like a friend. Do not allow him aboard the Enterprise under any circumstances, and if you see him attempting to communicate with Captain Kirk, don't let him. He is a psychopath with various powers - including, but not limited to, shapeshifting, telekinesis, and frankly a disturbing ability to manipulate electricity. He might talk about Captain Kirk to you, and he may act as though they're the best of friends, but in reality this is a lie.

[He sighs.] Just trust me when I say that while there are plenty of good, decent people on the community, Sylar is not one of them.

[He knows that curiosity will probably get the best of them (goodness knows Sulu's temper gets the best of him) and they'll probably talk to Sylar, but hopefully this will be a decent enough warning for now.]

[Of course, talking to Jack, Gwen and Ianto about Sylar is super easy, and he allows himself to sound frustrated and a little upset.] If any of you see me getting into a fight with Sylar, for the love of God, stop me. The last thing I need is to endanger my entire ship just because that man gets under my skin.

I know he does. That's the worst part - I don't let people get under my skin like this, but he hit all the right buttons without even trying.

I'm sorry, Sulu. Sorry that he ever found his way back here, and sorry that he seems to've taken a liking to getting on your nerves. Is there anything I can do to help? Like, as in at the moment, and not just keeping an eye on your future interaction?

[Allow him to be sappy once again, Ianto.] Just talking to you is helping.

Or you could just be really bad at hiding things from me. [Ianto's pleased that Sulu sounds a lot less upset than he did at the beginning of their conversation, there, and if flirting is what it takes, then. So be it]

That's a possibility, since I have a really terrible poker face. [It is working, and Sulu knows it's a tactic, but he'd much rather be happy and flirting with Ianto than pissed and fuming about Sylar.]

I like that I can generally tell what you're thinking. After having to deal with an enigma like Jack all the time, it's...refreshing. [Then flirt Ianto shall; he'd rather keep Sulu out of trouble with Sylar, if he could help it. It's bad enough that he needed rescuing from the dead, he really didn't need it to have to happen for Sulu as well]

Jack doesn't seem to be that hard to gauge. Just never make a joke at his expense, say "yes, sir" at any question and make sure to compliment his coat.
