Writer's Block: Too scary!!

[Error: unknown template qotd]

Nothing out of the ordinary, I don't think, but the space under my bed when I was 5 or so was one of those terrifying places where all the things I lost went, probably because of some monster hoarding them to try and tempt me down there. I grew out of it pretty fast but still, there's something disturbing about having a big, empty space under your bed where a person can fit.

I think I've finally made up for the lost time from that virus. I really should train somebody else to handle the botany lab if I get incapacitated like that again, because some of the plants in there are sort of volatile. But, that whole thing wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been - which is something everyone else has already pointed out.

Apologies all around for acting like a fourteen-year-old with no social graces but, in my defense, I was a fourteen-year-old with no social graces. Could have been worse, though - could have been thirteen.

So, any bets on how horrible the next virus will be, to make up for this one being pretty entertaining all around?

Yeah, tell me about it. It's a lot of work, a relationship is. Which is generally why I don't get into them, if I can help it. This one kind of just crept up on me, though. With its big blue eyes and well-tailored suits and all.

Well, the blue eyes and those long legs in those gorgeous jeans. They came first. They came the coffee and the dinosaur and the suits. But it was kind of a step-by-step process that ended up bringing him exactly where he wanted to be, so it all worked out. Although that was just wooing himself into a job. The actual wooing began with a stopwatch...

Well. Some of it's really not mine to say, especially if he hasn't told you about Lisa yet, but. I will say that our Ianto is a surprisingly good flirt, when he wants to be. And had a pretty good imagination even before I got to him, so. The stopwatch was just the final push in all the right directions.

Hah, he told you about the berets? That dog. Well, he does look pretty smashing in a UNIT beret. Had a friend from UNIT send me one over. Red is his color, after all.

Yeah. That...is a long and complicated and emotionally draining road that I'm sure if you stay friends with him for long enough, you'll get to know eventually. But you're right in not just bringing it up in casual conversation. But. Yeah. It really is the quiet ones.

Oh, well. Berets are a lot of fun. As are uniforms. But really. Red is definitely his color. You probably haven't seen the red shirt, yet. He only wears it on days where he's going to be in the office for most of the time, which is less nowadays, but I'm sure you'll see it sometime. Which means he'll wear the pinstripe to go with it, and man, that suit fits like a glove. You'll just have to take my word on it, I suppose.

Well then. Touche, lieutenant.
