Sulu ran a hand through his hair, trying to hide how embarrassed he was by the compliment - well, sort-of compliment, but still. Sulu took it that way. "Well. I'm not that type, I guess. I'm just... The only thing that's really making it a hard decision is my parents. It's something I have to like... talk to them about, but I'm not too sure how they're gonna deal with it. You know?"
He hesitated for a moment, then added, "Y'know, nothing really screams 23rd century like the Starfleet insignia, that's for sure."
