For all of the things Ianto could have said, in all honesty that was the least strange. He knew there were species that just straight up couldn't have ice cream, and others that thought of ice cream as a declaration of war, so just getting brainfreeze from it wasn't anything too bad.
"It's cool, man. The place I know pretty much can make a milkshake out of anything, so they have a bunch of flavors anyway. You don't have to have anything you don't want." He jabbed a thumb back towards the end of the pier where they'd come in from. "You sound pretty down about it, though."
