Sulu couldn't deny that he liked the noticeable effect he seemed to have on Ianto, from the blushing to the change in breathing to how he stammered and looked to the side as he spoke. It felt so nice to cause those kinds of things in someone like Ianto, to treat this like a real relationship, which was something Sulu hadn't had in a while. Though, God. Him looking away only made Sulu want to draw his attention back in some very-not-slow sorts of ways.
"Of course I'm going to take it." He stepped closer to Ianto, reaching up with his free hand to put a hand on the other man's face, to try and draw his gaze back to Sulu. "Really, Ianto. I'm honored that you want me to have it, and that you said yes to this whole date thing, and that you humored me and my... really terrible plant nerdiness just a few minutes ago." He smiled encouragingly, "I'm glad, I really am."
