Sulu was honestly surprised that Ianto had gone along with it so easily; he had half-expected some flustered response, and had considered the fact that he could very well be ruining the mood once more. But Ianto rolled with it as best he could, considering how anxious they both really were in the situation.
Sulu let the conversation change go with a laugh, because really, that was a problem in every time, wasn't it? Being tall, and - well, Ianto was probably pretty flexible. He had to have made it work.
Nodding his head as he tuned quickly in to what Ianto was saying, he pushed that whole line of thought out of his head. "That's fine. I'm actually kind of hungry, anyway." Nerves all day had made it a pain to try and force down replicated food, after all.
