Again, Sulu accepted his drink with a thank you, both to the waiter as he set it down and to Ianto as he slid it over to Sulu. He laughed at the toast, because honestly, he couldn't imagine Ianto striking out. After all, Ianto had never had Romulan ale or Saurian brandy, and neither of those things tasted nearly as good as most beers or ales. Though, he imagined he probably could have asked Scotty for some tips on various European drinks. He probably should have.
Lifting his own glass briefly, Sulu took a very professional gulp, then one more for good luck, because that was the only way hops really helped ease his nerves. "Not bad," he grinned after swallowing, "I think you found another talent."
